Question:
How can I get braces with 2 jaw teeth missing: I'm 36 and I've always wanted straight teeth.
I lost a jaw tooth in my teens. I lost the second one right near it about 2 yrs ago because the tooth kept getting infected the reason was because the root canal about 10 years prior was never finished.
I have a partial with the 2 teeth made to fill in the gap so that I could have a full mouth of teeth. I have to admit that I oftentimes don't wear them.
The other history of my teeth is that I have 2 other root canals on my jaw teeth (1 on my top jaw tooth and 1n my lower jaw tooth on the other side of my mouth). What can I do to get braces at this point so that I can have beautiful straight teeth?
Braces, implants, invisalign please let me know. ...Visitor from FL
Answer:
Get consults from orthodontists and reconstructive dentists who incorporate ortho treatments in their work.
Invisalign is popular for adults as is the growing popularity of accelerated orthodontics.... 2 years of ortho work completed in 5 or 6 months with results that, for most eligible patients, can be quite amazing.
You should be able to get free consults. Make sure whomever you select has an entire library of photos to view. Avoid doctors who have no photos.
