Adults who have only baby teeth: I am looking for a dentist and I am having trouble finding one who is an expert in my condition.
Can you tell me what kind of specialty would best serve me. I am 19 years old and I have only baby teeth, there are no adult teeth.
Most dentists say that they are not sure what to do, but they have lots of expansive ideas. Any suggestions for me? ... Visitor from Calgary Canada

You seem to have a rare condition. I have seen congenitally missing teeth but never missing an entire adult dentition.
I have one such case on my web site of an individual who was missing twelve adult teeth. The solution for him was to place implants and crowns over the primary teeth that were strong enough.
If he were to subsequently lose any of his primary teeth we would replace them with implants.
I would evaluate the condition of your primary teeth and decide which ones to keep and which ones to lose and develop a treatment plan from that. Hope this has helped.
