Question:
How many teeth can be done: How many teeth can be treated in a day? I would like to have all my teeth the same color and old metal removed.
Over the years I had several crowns and bonding done. Now, the teeth don't look as good as they used to due to stains and wear. I am 51 and would like a bright pretty smile. ... Visitor from GA
Answer:
Our office has had numerous patients who have had all necessary teeth prepared in a single day. However this may not be the best treatment for you.
In addition to having a beautiful smile, it must function properly. Your jaw joint, ability to speak without a "whistle", and chewing food without your teeth clunking together cannot be compromised. If your functional needs are not met you will regret having had any work done on your mouth.
When the functional and cosmetic needs are met the results are spectacular for the patients. This also results in the fastest treatment time because the dental work does not need to be redone.
