Question:
I have worn dentures since I was 18 yrs old now I'm 65.
I have no bone except a very narrow bone left on the bottom and not much more on the top. The last dentures that were made for me were flat on the bottom and I cant't keep them in my mouth.

There are now so many solutions for your problems.
I have a patient who is in her mid 60's who had all of her teeth extracted at age 15. She, too, has very little bone left.
We were able to place 2 implants on her bottom jaw and 4 on her upper jaw and are in the process of making dentures that will lock into the implants with locators. To see what locators are, you can research www.zestanchors.com.
If you do not have enough bone to place implants, grafts can be done to increase the bone level to allow for implants. Also, bone is routinely placed in the sinus on the upper jaw to allow enough bone for implants to be placed.
Get some more consults.... 3 would be good. Be sure to look for somebody who really loves making dentures. Many, if not most, dentists do not particularly like making dentures, so it may take some research.
