Question:
Two of my wisdom teeth are sideways and can't come through the gum.

Is it necessary to have them removed ...Visitor from OH

Answer:
No... if you don't mind the risk of infection, abscess and bone loss in your jaw.

As with everything else in dentistry, the longer treatment is delayed... the more complicated and expensive it can become... especially if specialists are involved.

Molar teeth are usually the MOST difficult teeth to remove. Imagine the complexity of removal if the teeth are partly resorbed and/or the root structures wrap around the jawbone or other tooth roots, compromising the health of adjacent teeth.
